The Maono PD200X is a “hybrid” dynamic microphone that combines the professional build and audio quality of an XLR mic with the modern convenience of a USB-C connection.

Specification

  • Dual Connectivity (USB & XLR):  USB Mode: Plug-and-play for PC, Mac, and consoles (PS4/PS5). This mode activates the internal DSP, RGB lighting, and software features.

    • XLR Mode: Allows you to connect to professional mixers or audio interfaces for a cleaner, analog signal path.

  • 2-in-1 Smart Knob: A large, multi-function dial on the front allows you to toggle between and adjust Microphone Gain and Headphone Volume with a simple click.

  • Customizable RGB Lighting: Features a ring of “breathing” RGB lights at the base of the capsule.7 You can choose from 8 static colors or a dynamic multi-color gradient to match your gaming setup.

  • One-Key Mute: A physical mute button with a clear LED indicator (Green for active, Red for muted) ensures you know exactly when you are “on air.”

  • Maono Link Software: When used in USB mode, you can unlock advanced “Digital Signal Processing” (DSP) features:

    • EQ Presets: Choose between Deep, Natural, Bright, or Legacy tones.

    • Advanced Controls: Adjust the Limiter, Compressor, and Noise Reduction levels.

📦 In the Box

The PD200X usually includes the essential accessories to get started:

  • The Microphone with an integrated shock mount.

  • USB-C to USB-A/C Cable (2.5 m).

  • 5/8′ to 3/8” adapter for boom arms.

  • Note: An XLR cable is typically not included and must be purchased separately if you plan to use an interface.

Best Use For

  • Gaming & Streaming: The dynamic capsule is excellent at ignoring mechanical keyboard clicks, and the RGB adds to the visual aesthetic.
